Just thought I'd share the mock-ups for a bunch of cut auto cards I'm making this week. Kind of Yankee heavy this week so Doug should be happy. I've got an Aaron auto as well but haven't decided what I'm doing with it yet.

You know what would be cool is to make those in the form of binder labels for sets; i.e. 1956 TOPPS using the 56 card design.

I agree.
And like Doran I am working on doing some custom boxes, 4 row, 2 row, 800 count size for my nicer sets and that would be a wonderful way to make the box and set nice!

Are you thinking something with that years design and just the year, or are you thinking player specific? Give me some ideas and dimensions and as soon as I have time I'll see what I can do.

I was thinking of a label that uses the font, style and colors from that year. Like the 1956 label would have a white border, with a rectangular box divided in two (like the name and team section on the card) using the white and black fonts etc. Maybe a players picture from a card also in the label.

Or you could use a wrapper image from the year instead of a player.

Cool idea. I can see those labels being a huge hit.

You should just be able to copy and paste it into paint or word and then print.
