Hello again. I posted a couple weeks back about graded cards. Now I am about to offer to dealers maybe 150 ungraded cards from the 1950s, which I have not done for maybe 20 years. I am wondering what the general going rate is today? These are maybe half HOFers (but not Williams, Mays, Aaron) and half "stars" of varying grade, though a good number Ex to NM. Do dealers usually base price on Beckett? Do they pay 20% or 30% or 40% or what? Thanks for any feedback.

There is no good answer to this one. It depends on the dealer, the condition of the cards, what players and what they think they can get for them.

I would guess (emphasis on guess) that they will offer you maybe 25% of low book. But like I said, there are too many other variables to give this an exact answer. Maybe others who buy and sell can weigh in and give you a better answer.

BTW, what did you end up doing with the graded cards?

Good luck with your sales. As mentioned above, it can be a WIDE range, but don't expect a good price unless the cards are close to Mint.
