It would have to be a real special card for me to want to get it graded onsite. The costs just make it tough to justify,

I use the onsite grading as a means to verify a raw card is not altered....last 2 nationals I have found nice raw cards on the floor from dealers then had them graded on site.

Would the dealers have purchased them back from you if the card was not NG?

I make it a requirement of the sale to pass being unaltered....I usually leave a higher valued card as collateral while I take the card to be graded.

Haven't thought about that Kirk, but it's a good idea.

Sgc has always been very helpful with this.....usually they can look at a card in less than 10 minutes
