I forgot what it was like

Just listening to him get excited about pulling a 87 Topps Pete Rose, "Any Pete Rose is a good card!" and acting like a little kid when he pulled a Bo Jackson card, it was just very refreshing to me. He was smiling from ear to ear, just because he pulled a John Smoltz, Jim Rice, and Dave Winfield in the same pack. It was just a breath of fresh air, someone who was actually ENJOYING the cards, not asking me how much each card booked for.
I didn't pull much out of my 92 UD packs, but I did pull the Tom Selleck Mr. Baseball card which I did keep, I gave the rest of my packs to my friend.
He used to lightly collect hockey when he was younger, now he is collecting Yankees cards and memorabilia. He's going to next years National with me, should be a blast going with someone who enjoys collecting like he does.
