psa 10 '77 Largent Population Spike

the last (june 2011) auction shown for a psa 10 1977 largent rookie has the seller quoting it as having a population of 4. the current population is 11. does anyone know why the marked spike in PSA 10 happened and/or have ideas what the increase does to the value of the card?

someone must be busting alot of wax or just sitting on some nice cards waiting for the right time to sale.
