WOW...3 rookie cards, don't you think you are taking a risk? I always thought that auto cards in general reduce the value of the card for the most part or at least what I have seen in the past. Most card purists believe that when they are signed it is like adding a qualifier to it. Or do you think that trend is no more?

Personally I always liked the signed cards.

The last Aaron rookie I had signed sold for 1275 on ebay...Tripled my money...Might have been a fluke but I figured I should try it at least one more time.

Did you sell it as graded, because I don't think I have ever seen one sold before on eBay.
If it was raw then I would not of seen it at all.

I need to clarify my statement. I had it listed on ebay but sold it outside of ebay.

Bobby ... back in the mid 80s it was taboo to get the Rookie Card signed for the reason you mentioned. Most people used the 2nd yr card. Today, however, I believe things have changed quite a bit and a premium is placed on the Rookie Card being autographed.

WOW! I'd be thrilled with one, never mind 3!

Did you get them signed through Steiner?

Yeah, they are expensive, but at least you know beyond a doubt they are legit. I'd love to see scans of those slabbed when they arrive!

Super nice haul, I'm jealous!
